Travel and Accommodation Coordinator

PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Travel & Accommodation Coordinator to join our client, a leading Construction Company based in Dublin 22. This role is Permanent and candidates are required to be in the office full-time. The successful candidate will be joining a very friendly and outgoing team. Responsibilities

  • Manage the travel and accommodation requests of employees and executives in a timely manner according to project schedules.
  • Assist with arranging appropriate modes of travel such as flights and rental cars, as well as making hotel reservations, coordinating with landlords/estate agents, and preparing itineraries.
  • Liaise with various travel agencies and companies for bookings and cancellations.
  • Log and maintain all travel records, spreadsheets, and calendars.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the payroll team.
  • Occasionally cover Reception for holiday cover

Requirements

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Previous experience working as a travel coordinator or similar role required
  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and long-term apartments
  • Self-motivated, assertive individual, problem solver and teamwork oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
  • Extremely proficient in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of bulk booking software and technologies like IATA, Amadeus, Galileo preferred
  • Awareness about international travel regulations, customs, and currencies
  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field desired
