PE Global, in partnership with a prestigious hospital located in South Dublin, is seeking experienced theatre nurses to join their dynamic team. As a JCI accredited hospital, there is excellent opportunity for an experienced General and orthopaedic theatre trained nurse to join this expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist in the preparation, sterilisation, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other medical staff to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile surgical environment.
• Provide post-operative care, including wound care and patient recovery monitoring.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient care, and observations.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.

Requirements:

• Registered in the general division of NMBI
• At least 3 years experience in General Theatre OR Orthopaedic Theatre, with a minimum of 1yr experience in Ireland within this setting
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
• Evidence of personal professional development
