System & Functional Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, comment, and discuss requirement specifications from customers and internal stakeholders (incl. safety goals / safety requirements)
Development technical solutions (safety mechanism) to fulfil the safety goals from the customer together with the project team
Define and describe the system requirements, especially soft- and hardware relevant requirements (incl. Technical Safety Requirements)
Discuss and review the Technical Safety Requirements with the soft- and hardware domains
Moderate and lead the review of functional safety related work products (SFMEA, FTA, etc.)
Support all relevant departments and domains like testing, SW- & HW-Development, Program Management, etc

Education & Experience:

Bachelor / master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics or similar
Several years of experience in the automotive industries
Detailed Knowledge in Automotive SPICE
Detailed Knowledge of Requirements Management Tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS, etc.)
Detailed Knowledge in Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
Knowledge in hard- and software development for automotive electronic devices
Knowledge in automotive software architecture and AUTOSAR
Confident manner in dealing with suppliers, internal and external customers
Business fluency in English is required
Team-oriented working style and good organizational skills
