PE Global are delighted to be working with our client, a leading tier 1 Building and Fit Out Contractor, and we are looking for experienced Senior Site Engineers for a range of projects in the Dublin region & Newbridge. The successful candidate will be based on 1 project only, not moving between all 3.
The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for assisting the construction management team in the on-site control of the building elements of projects.
The three projects we are recruiting for at the moment are for a mixed-use development providing 502 residential units in 6 blocks in Tallaght, Dublin 24. The next is another mixed-use development providing 725 apartments to 13 storeys in Fingal, Dublin 15
The last project is based in Newbridge, Kildare for Diageo’s first carbon neutral brewery project valued at €200M.

The Senior Site Engineer’s duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise setting out engineers.
- Checks shuttering, steel and other dimensions prior to concrete pours and maintains materials reconciliation files.
- Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
- Liaise with subcontractors, clients and other professionals.
- Oversee quality control and health and safety on site.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 4+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer with a Main Contractor.
- Experience using setting out equipment, for example total station, GPS and laser levels.
- Knowledge of temporary works coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and able to work on own initiative.
