My client, a reputable employer in Cork, is looking to recruit a Senior Pensions Administrator on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering pension schemes with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. This role involves working closely with clients, trustees, and internal teams, providing a first-class service while adhering to regulatory requirements.
The Role:
- Oversee the administration of Defined Contribution (DC), Defined Benefit (DB), and hybrid pension schemes.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of pension schemes, including member queries, benefit calculations, and processing contributions.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and trustees.
- Prepare reports and presentations for trustee meetings, including compliance updates.
- Ensure all pension schemes comply with Irish pension legislation and regulatory guidelines.
- Handle annual audits and regulatory filings, including PRSA compliance and trustee reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to the implementation of new systems and tools.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in pension administration, with expertise in both DC and DB schemes.
- A deep understanding of Irish pensions legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., QFA, APA, or CIP)
- Proficiency in pension administration software and MS Office applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skill
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
