We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Developer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance quantitative models and tools that drive trading strategies and portfolio management. You will work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and data scientists to implement solutions that enhance decision-making in the energy markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
  • Design and implement algorithms to support real-time trading strategies in the energy markets.
  • Collaborate with traders, quants, and risk managers to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines for real-time market data, historical analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Ensure the robustness and performance of models through rigorous backtesting, validation, and stress testing.
  • Continuously improve and refactor code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Work with large datasets from energy markets, using statistical and machine learning techniques to enhance trading insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in quantitative finance, trading algorithms, and technology trends relevant to energy trading.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in quantitative development, particularly within trading or financial markets.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with experience in developing numerical models.
  • Solid understanding of energy markets, particularly in areas like commodities, gas, oil, or power trading.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and data analytics to support algorithmic trading.
  • Experience with high-performance computing and working with large datasets in real-time environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
