PE Global is currently recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant to join a well-established Practice based in Co. Meath.  This role is a hybrid position with an early finish on a Friday.

This is a permanent role that will give an experienced Part Qualified Practice Accountant an opportunity to join a firm that specialises in a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader & industry type. This role will work as part of the non-audit team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of year end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage
  • Ability to reconcile balance sheet items including VAT, Payroll, leases, hire purchases and fixed assets
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity of posting journals onto accounting software
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with agreed deadlines, ability to follow checklists, procedures and process requirements
  • Assist with year-end close out and year end journals
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
  • Liaising with clients – confident in dealing with clients over the phone and through written correspondence
  • Assisting manager on special client assignments

 

Requirements:

  • You will be Part Qualified ACA/ACCA
  • You will have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in general accounting practice
  • You will have experience in preparing accounts to trial balance stage.
  • Experience in Surf, Xero and Sage Line 50 is an advantage.
  • You will have excellent verbal and written English and have strong client experience.
  • Candidates from an Accounting Technician background in Practice may be considered
