PE Global Recruitment are currently working with a leading contractor to recruit Mechanical Project Managers / Contracts Managers to join the team in Cork. These are full time, permanent roles.

Job Description:
They are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join the dynamic. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of mechanical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress regularly and provide updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
- Manage procurement processes and vendor relationships to optimize project delivery and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate project performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, mentoring and guiding team members to enhance performance and skill development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; additional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Proven experience 5 years as a Mechanical Project Manager (desirable) in the construction or engineering industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and strong technical aptitude in mechanical systems and installations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
