My client, reputable and longstanding company in Cork, are looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a very broad role that gives the right candidate exposure to different aspects of the business where they will work directly with Senior Management.
The Role:
- Prepare detailed management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide variance analysis with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze production costs, overheads, and variances to recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
- Partner with operations, procurement, and R&D to provide financial decision-making support.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Qualification – ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA
- 3 Years PQE in a fast paced environment
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, especially within a production environment.
- Proficient in financial software, ERP Systems and advanced MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
