Overview:
Our client, a leading provider of turnkey electrical infrastructure solutions, is currently seeking qualified Electricians to join their expanding Substation Electrical Division based in Dublin.

This role offers the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects, with a focus on substation installations. The organisation provides comprehensive design, build, and maintenance services, ensuring reliable and cost-effective energy solutions for its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE):

  • Adhere to company safety procedures and life-saving rules at all times

  • Deliver electrical installation works in line with HSQE requirements and project standards

  • Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Identify and manage risk associated with site activities

  • Support the achievement of HSQE key performance indicators

  • Report any incidents or accidents in a timely manner

  • Maintain correct use of PPE and ensure compliance with safety briefings and documentation

Operational Duties:

  • Carry out installation of electrical infrastructure including AIS and GIS HV/LV switchgear, transformers, cables, control and protection systems, metering, lighting, power cabling, and mobile generator connections

  • Erect steelwork for all MV/HV equipment

  • Execute works in line with the project programme and timelines

  • Provide input to the Electrical Supervisor regarding procurement needs

Requirements:

  • National Craft Certificate or time-served equivalent qualification

  • Valid Safe Pass card

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Previous industrial or commercial experience is desirable, though not essential
