Healthcare Assistant

PE Global is hiring a Healthcare Assistant on behalf of one of our prestigious clients, a leading healthcare provider in Bruff, Co. Limerick. We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and reliable individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with daily personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Supporting mobility, helping patients move safely, and ensuring comfort.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Experience with Dementia desired but not essential
• Providing companionship and emotional support, ensuring a positive and caring environment.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is essential
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support
• Manual handling training (desirable).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
