We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the team responsible for delivering major onshore facilities projects. The role focuses on managing capital projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, while offering exceptional career advancement opportunities for professional engineers to contribute to outstanding project outcomes.

The primary role of the Electrical Engineer is to construct and deploy electrical systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical assemblies, supporting system development from concept to manufacturing, and collaborating with other engineers to create optimal designs.

Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Prepare estimates and proposals for projects
  • Apply technical standards and procedures to perform tasks
  • Ensure all techniques, procedures, and designs meet appropriate compliance standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues
  • Provide input on the design and development of equipment as designs progress through the structural process
  • Manage and oversee the work of Junior Electrical Engineers
  • Support the manufacturing process and address any manufacturing queries

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university, with a proven track record in the oil & gas industry or similar fields; an MSc is a plus.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Field Electrical Engineering.
  • Expertise as an electrical engineer, preferably with experience in project management.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to resolve project-related issues.
