We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and AI-driven insights that directly impact our energy systems. You will work with a variety of large datasets, designing algorithms that improve energy efficiency, predict maintenance needs, and support our broader sustainability goals. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and creative problem-solving to innovate within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex energy-related challenges, such as energy forecasting, consumption optimization, and predictive maintenance.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive decision-making and business strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, software developers, and energy specialists to integrate AI solutions into production environments.
  • Design and build AI-based systems for real-time analytics and decision support, enhancing our energy operations and customer solutions.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and refine models to ensure performance improvements and scalability.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, bringing innovative solutions to the energy industry.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI and machine learning models, ideally within the energy sector.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and experience with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Strong experience in working with large datasets and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI model deployment and data management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to applying AI solutions to real-world energy challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
