Job responsibilities
- This full-time (10 PA) position, involves Haematology OPD clinics, support for chemotherapy units, and in-patient care.
- The role includes joining the trust’s intra-thecal chemotherapy register and assisting in treatments.
- Candidates may develop sub-specialty areas and engage in research.
- Mentorship is provided, and applicants with specific subspecialty interests are encouraged.
- Responsibilities also include supervision of junior staff, support for laboratory haematology, participation in MDT meetings, and contributions to quality management.
- Urgent and Emergency Care duties, including on-call, will comply with working time regulations and safety standards. Part-time applications will be considered.
