PE Global is recruiting an Aftermarket PCE Technician for our multinational oil and gas client based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, UK. The role is an initial 3 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to assemble equipment and products.
- Service and repair hydraulic systems, ensuring they remain clean.
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment for defects.
- Support key initiatives like on-time delivery and quality control.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and clean work area using 5S and LEAN principles.
- Assist with new techniques, products, and machinery purchases.
- Generate and implement improvement ideas, encouraging team participation.
- Respond to and implement process improvements.
- Participate in daily team meetings, discussing potential issues.
- Complete assigned tasks to meet targets set by the Cell Leader.
- Ensure product quality meets standards while maintaining output levels.
- Report issues to improve current designs.
- Promote company objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Work safely and report any safety concerns immediately.
- Follow inspection criteria, policies, and procedures without exception.
Requirements:
Essential
- Completed apprenticeship in HGV/Plant mechanics.
- Background in a mechanical profession.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
Desirable:
- Experience in Service and Repair of PCE.
- Forklift and overhead crane certificates.
