PE Global is currently recruiting for an Accounts Technician / Bookkeeper to join a well-established Practice based in Co. Meath.  This role is a hybrid position with an early finish on a Friday.

This is a permanent role that will give an experienced Accounts Technician / Bookkeeper an opportunity to join a firm that specialises in a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader & industry type.

This is a hybrid role Monday to Friday but a 4 day week Monday to Thursday can also be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Working Papers & Financial Statements in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Management Accounts for certain clients – generally Quarterly / 6 monthly
  • Preparation, completion and filing of VAT, Vat RTD and RCT Returns.
  • Preparing draft year end files.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Effectively manage and deal with client queries
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance to drive things forward.
  • Other ad hoc duties and tasks as required by the business.

 

Requirements:

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within Practice
  • Accounting Technician course is an advantage but not essential, practice experience is key
  • You will have experience preparing a full set of accounts to trial balance stage
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills & experience working with clients
  • You will have proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and experience using accounting packages
