PE Global, together with our prestigious private client require experienced ED Staff Nurses for Urgent Care Clinics based in Limerick, Cork, Dublin and Galway. There is opportunity for both agency and permanent positions within these roles.

Role:

As part of the team you will provide specialist nursing care to patients presenting with a range of urgent care and minor injuries/illnesses. Reporting to the Clinic Nurse Lead, the Staff Nurse will provide patients with a leading standard of care, with the approach of making the patient experience as pleasant as is feasibly possible.

Duties:

• Deliver high-quality urgent care nursing, maintaining patient-centred care at all times.
• Perform clinical assessments, record observations, and manage treatment and discharge processes.
• Administer and store medication safely in line with NMBI and best practice guidelines.
• Ensure clear, effective communication with patients and the wider healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate, confidential nursing documentation using electronic systems where applicable.
• Comply with infection control protocols and contribute to quality and safety standards, including incident and risk reporting.
• Actively engage in ongoing education, quality improvement, and adherence to clinic policies and clinical governance frameworks.

Requirements:

• Registered with the NMBI with a min of 2yrs post graduate experience in A&E, Urgent care or Trauma orthopaedics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and approach with both patients and colleagues
• Ability to recognise and respect the expertise of others and the contribution of team members and harness good teamwork and open contributions to enable excellent patient care.
• Experience in minor trauma, general medicine, paediatrics, Sports medicine.
