Staff and Senior Psychologist

As tier 1 suppliers, PE Global Healthcare has lovely opportunities for Senior and Staff Grade Psychologists to work with a children’s service based in East Galway and Galway City. We currently have openings for 3 staff grade and 3 senior grade to work within the community.

Essential Requirements:

• Fully qualified and registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland
• If qualified outside Ireland, you must provide proof of validation from the Department of Health
• Access to a car is also required

Experience:

• 3 years post-qualification experience in working in a service for individuals with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities and/or Mental Health difficulties is desirable for senior grade.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
• All candidates must meet the registration requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

Skills:

• Full Clean Driving Licence required for the post.
• Genuine respect and empathy for diversity and individuality.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and judgement
• Making critical decisions and recommendations.
• Capable of working within a fast-paced and flexible team.
