The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Deal Analyst for our cloud software client based in Dublin CC. This is an initial 11-month contract role. Hybrid working options.

As a Deal Analyst you will be responsible for pricing via Salesforce, inputting data into the quoting tool, opportunity review, agreement creation, and then working with the local Deal operations team for corrections and discrepancy resolution. There will also be some interaction with customers to discuss Annual Reporting Obligations.
Your attention to process and detail will improve the effectiveness of our Deal Operations Team.
Your experience in customer service, services, sales, marketing or consulting will be a big plus along with having impeccable attention to detail.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Working proactively on deals and deal execution. Proposing solutions and supporting customers and the Deal Operations team closing deals from a commercial perspective is the main goal.
  • Collaboratively working different functions leading to the customer signing and Order Form. 
  • The day-to-day focus of this role is to partner with EMEA Deal Operations Team as they support the Sales organization from a deal strategy and operational efficiency standpoint. 
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate pricing, clean and executable Order Forms and maintaining operational dashboards.
  • Review Customer Quotes, Orders and Agreements, identifying discrepancies, non-standard terms, and work with the Deal and Renewal teams
  • Daily processing of incoming orders, excel workbook calculations, quoting and order packages with speed and accuracy

 

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of the Quote to Cash lifecycle or strong desire to apply sales process experience
  • An understanding of general software pricing models, knowledge of SaaS pricing and licensing models a definite plus.
  • Comfortable partnering and engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure the best possible deal support for Sales
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Team player: experience working across functions to deliver customer/prospect/client facing proposals What’s required:
  • Knowledge of SFDC preferred, other CRMs ok
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Prior Sales Operations, Business Operations, Sales or Finance experience
