PE Global Healthcare are recruiting for Social Care Workers in Cork City.

Placing Social workers in private centres. 

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Social Care Workers to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and supporting service users in achieving their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized care and support plans.
Assist individuals in daily living activities, personal care, and community participation.
Advocate for and support the rights, dignity, and well-being of service users.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment.
Encourage personal development and social inclusion through meaningful activities.
Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory standards.
Support individuals with behavioural challenges using positive reinforcement strategies.

Requirements:

• A qualification in Social Care, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (QQI Level 7 or higher preferred).
  Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or challenging behaviours is desirable.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards, safeguarding policies, and person-centred care approaches.
  Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  A compassionate, patient, and empowering approach to care.
  Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers if required.
  A full driving license is an advantage.
