PE Global is recruiting an experienced Production Operator for our personal care client based in Flint. The role is an initial 7-month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Carries out basic operations within a production section – understanding the impact of that process on other areas.
- Identifies quality issues within own areas and escalates where applicable.
- Carries out defined work under instruction.
- Resolves problems within own work area.
- Is able to control hand tools with precision.
- Maintains work area to the defined standards.
- Have operational experience with FMCG.
- 4 on /6 off Shift pattern (1st week will be Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm, then shift thereafter)
Requirements:
- The job holder should be educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalent, preferably within a manufacturing or production discipline.
- Ideally they will have a basic understanding of paper technology or general manufacturing processes.
- They will be self-motivated and conscientious to detail in the work they carry out.
- They will have good numeracy and verbal skills and have a good standard of communication.
