Corporate Finance Manager

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Corporate Finance Manager for a leading Public Sector organisation based in Dublin City Centre.

This is a permanent opportunity with a leading public sector organisation based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of companies within the residential property development / finance sector area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in shareholder oversight of a number of the Portfolio Companies operating in the residential property development / finance sector.
• Review and analyse financial reports (including annual reports and interim reports etc.) and business plans prepared by Portfolio Companies.
• Review and analyse any borrowing, funding and capital expenditure proposals that Portfolio Companies are submitting for shareholder approval.
• Review and analyse from a financial perspective any acquisition, disposal or joint venture proposals to be undertaken by Portfolio Companies.
• Review of financial targets (e.g., dividend, profitability, gearing) and equity valuations for Portfolio Companies to monitor financial performance and shareholder return.
• Assist in oversight of the delivery of climate objectives (e.g., decarbonisation / sustainability strategies) by Portfolio Companies.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the residential property development sector.
• Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, in particular officials in Government Departments and senior management teams in the Portfolio Companies.
• Prepare accurate, commercially focused and insightful reports capable of presentation to relevant Government Ministers/Departments.

Requirements:

• You will be a fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CFA)
• You will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience within a financial role in either professional services advisory, corporate real estate, construction or a large commercial organisation of scale
• Experience in residential property development / finance is required
• You will have strong financial and commercial analytical skills
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
