PE Global are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager for a leading engineering company involved with complex biopharma facilities.

 

The client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee an upcoming mechanical engineering project in the Longford region, on a permanent, full-time basis.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend and actively engage in meetings with clients and the design team.
  • Oversee multiple projects to ensure high-quality installations.
  • Ensure compliance with program schedules, materials, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Handle programming, planning, and reporting for all project management tasks.
  • As a successful Senior Project Manager, participate in project site visits to monitor, review, and approve mechanical installations.
  • Ensure that commissioning and testing are carried out in accordance with the quality plan.

 

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:

  • A degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is necessary.
  • The successful project management candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically delivering large-scale technical projects.
  • Previous work with a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor in Ireland or the UK, ideally on Industrial or Pharmaceutical projects, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC and building services design.
  • Previous exposure to Process Piping, Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, and Clean & Dirty Utilities Piping is desirable.
