PE Global is currently recruiting for a Lead Accounting Analyst for a leading multi-national Oil & Gas company based in London.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities
• Record accounting entries related to affiliate investments.
• Review affiliate board materials and provide analysis and insights for board members.
• Conduct financial evaluations of affiliates and their projects.
• Perform financial modelling and support business decisions with due diligence.
• Maintain and address any issues related to internal financial controls.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance best practices.
• Collaborate with management on the development and presentation of financial forecasts.
• Oversee cash flow management and financing operations.
• Assist in joint venture activities and support mergers & acquisitions integration.
• Provide guidance on complex financial and accounting issues.
• Coordinate internal finance resources to support business projects and initiatives.
• Apply strong management skills to meet operational demands.
• Utilize analytics to provide insights.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Build credibility with internal clients through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Work effectively within a team, plan your tasks, and meet deadlines. You should deliver high-quality work and proactively resolve challenges to ensure successful outcomes.

Education & Experience Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, along with relevant advanced certifications like CPA, CA, or CFA. An MBA or other postgraduate degree is a plus.
• You should have at least ten years of relevant experience, which may include financial reporting, accounting research, international taxation, financial analysis, modelling, business development, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, internal controls, cash management, or consulting.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and SAP is preferred. Experience in industries such as chemicals, power generation, or oil & gas is advantageous.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
